for what it's worth : 무엇이 도움되겠느냐 마는... (그냥 내생각인데) 

예문) For what it's worth, I like your idea better than his.

take over : 점령하다. 접수하다. 인수하다(비즈니스)

예문) How is instragram taking over skateboarding.

can relate : 공감하다. understand how that person or situation feels.

예문) I can relate to what you're saying in your songs.

       Who can relate?

pecking order : hierarchical system of social organization, 조직의 서열/계층 구조

예문) Some people prefer to assign leads based on seniority, or “pecking order” for lack of a better term

In hindsight: (지나고나서) 생각해 보니, 돌이켜 보면

hindsight 자체는 뒤를 보는 시력 즉, 반성을 통한 깨달음을 의미

"Hindsight is 20/20" 표현도 잘 쓰이는데, 지나간 과거의 결정에 대한 비판은 지나고 나서야 비로소 뚜렷하게 되는 것이니, 무의미한 자책없이 그냥 받아들이라는 뜻

예문) In hindsight, it would have been better to wait

lying around: (돈, 사람, 쓰레기 등) 널부러져있는

예문) I'm lazy to pick out my clothes, so I grab anything just lying around

Rub it in one's face:  자꾸 들먹이다

예문) He was right about the discussion we had the other day and now he doesn't stop rubbing it to my face
